Building a Primitive Furnace Smelter in Palworld isn’t as difficult as using it. The recipe becomes available in level 10 of the Technology, but unlike some other machines, you cannot use it without the specific type of Pals. Necessary to convert Ore into Ingots, they are the base ingredients of several important recipes, including Giga Sphere, Cooking Pot, Heat-Resistant Metal Armor, Mounted Machine Gun, and more.

To use Smelter in Palworld you have to assign it the Pal with Kindling work suitability. The trait is exclusive to the Fire type. The first one that you will encounter during your journey is Foxparks. It has level 1 Kindling suitability and can be found in the starter areas. How to Build Smelter in Palworld
There are three types of Smelter you can unlock in the early access of the game. The First one is Primitive Furnace, which unlocks at level 10 Tech and needs 20 Woods, 50 Stones, and 3 Flame Organs to craft. Second is an Improved Furnace, which becomes available at level 34 of Technology and needs 100 Stones, 30 Cement, and 15 Flame Organs to build. Lastly, at level 44 Electric Furnace becomes available for crafting with 50 Refined Ingots, 10 Circuit Boards, 20 Polymer, and 20 Carbon Fiber.
