Previously known as Gambit ESports, the Russian team M3C were the champions of the masters 3 last year. With their main sponsor, Gambit ESports backing away from the team due to political issues, the team then went on to compete independently as the M3 Champions. Representing the EMEA region, the team consists of 5 players and two staff members that help train and manage the team.

The team consists of 5 players, namely:

  • Igor “Redgar” Vlasov
  • Nikita “d3ffo” Sudakov

Apart from this, they also have a staff of two, their coach Andre “Engh” Sholokhov and manager, Vladimir “Kayos” Ivanov.

Prominent VALORANT Matches played by M3 Champions

The team rose to the top after winning the Stage 1 Masters in 2021. They became a force to reckon with by sweeping forZe with a score of 3-0 in the grand finals. After which, they won their first LAN at Masters Berlin, by beating Team Envy. Later, they also secured second place at the VALORANT Champions. 2021 really was a great year for the team!

And so, to no one’s surprise, when they returned this year as an independent team, they easily torched the field with NAVI, BIG, LDN Utd and Guild Esports. Beating all four teams and then playing their remaining matches in three consecutive days.

Competing to secure a spot in the VALORANT Masters 1, they charged on. Unfortunately, after a tough fight in the tournament, they were beat by the formidable Fnatic on the 23rd of March. And have now been eliminated from the challengers by G2 Esports. It is worth mentioning that this was no easy task as they battled head to head with both teams to the very end.
