The VALORANT ESports tournament is afoot. And tensions are high. With a majority of the competition hailing from either Russia or Ukraine. The teams have gone through a ton of changes since the tournament was announced. Among these fierce competitors is the famous M3 Champions, a team with a record of 97 wins so far. It’s no wonder why we all want to know more about the M3 Champions in VALORANT. And here is your chance to find out!

    Overview of the M3 Champions

Who Are M3 Champions In Valorant?

Previously known as Gambit ESports, the Russian team M3C were the champions of the masters 3 last year. With their main sponsor, Gambit ESports backing away from the team due to political issues, the team then went on to compete independently as the M3 Champions. Representing the EMEA region, the team consists of 5 players and two staff members that help train and manage the team.

Who is on the M3 Champions VALORANT team?

The team consists of 5 players, namely:

    • Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin
    • Bogdan “Sheydos” Naumov
    • Igor “Redgar” Vlasov
    • Nikita “d3ffo” Sudakov
    • Timofey “Chronicle” Khromov

Apart from this, they also have a staff of two, their coach Andre “Engh” Sholokhov and manager, Vladimir “Kayos” Ivanov.

Prominent VALORANT Matches played by M3 Champions

The team rose to the top after winning the Stage 1 Masters in 2021. They became a force to reckon with by sweeping forZe with a score of 3-0 in the grand finals. After which, they won their first LAN at Masters Berlin, by beating Team Envy. Later, they also secured second place at the VALORANT Champions. 2021 really was a great year for the team!

And so, to no one’s surprise, when they returned this year as an independent team, they easily torched the field with NAVI, BIG, LDN Utd and Guild Esports. Beating all four teams and then playing their remaining matches in three consecutive days.

Competing to secure a spot in the VALORANT Masters 1, they charged on. Unfortunately, after a tough fight in the tournament, they were beat by the formidable Fnatic on the 23rd of March. And have now been eliminated from the challengers by G2 Esports. It is worth mentioning that this was no easy task as they battled head to head with both teams to the very end.

And that’s all about the M3 Champions in VALORANT. A formidable team for sure, we can’t wait to see more of their matches be played. They’re always a treat to behold! If you’re interested in playing VALORANT, then be sure to check out this article on the best laptops to Play Valorant on.
