    There isn’t a dedicated solution to do that, however, there is a trick you can attempt. You can trade your Pokemon with a friend and back. Retrading is a potential way to decrease the CP, but there is a catch. Upon retrading, the CP of the Pokemon fluctuates and may tip higher or lower.

    It means that there is a 50-50 chance of that happening. Along with CP, the IV stats of Pokemon may change as well. Apart from this, unfortunately, there isn’t a way to do it as of now. Maybe, in the future, Niantic will come up with something to solve this issue.
