The Last Of Us Part 1 Is Now Steam Deck Verified With Major Updates

On June 13th, the player's disappointment in the PC version of The Last of Us was changed when it got Steam Deck Verified.

The Last of Us v1.1.0,  has once again turned out to be Steam Deck Verified after receiving much criticism. The much-awaited launch of The Last of Us on PC received heavy backlash from players since its official launch on March 28th. The game on Steam faced multiple issues, needing major performance improvement and fixes for various crashes. Due to this, Steam had to accept refunds.

As for developers like Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy, the failure of the PC version of the esteemed game led to them facing severe criticism. The situation escalated to the point where even PlayStation Studio had to apologize.

Naughty Dog has finally addressed and improved the issues players were facing. As per what they promised 2 months ago on their site saying, “We at Naughty Dog and our partners at Iron Galaxy are closely watching player reports to support future improvements and patches. We are actively optimizing, working on game stability, and implementing additional fixes which will all be included in regularly released future updates.”

They have made fixes like added support for players using third-party audio drivers, improved global CPU and GPU performance, improved shader compilations time and more. Due to this, The Last of Us got approved again on Steam Deck.
