The much-awaited Telugu movie titled Shyam Singha Roy featuring Nani and Sai Pallvali in a lead role has finally been released on the popular OTT platform, Netflix. Before its OTT release, the film has already minted a sizeable amount when it hit the theaters on December 24 last year.
Since a lot of people across the world are avoiding heading to theaters due to Covid-19, tons of Nani and Sai Pallavi’s fans could not watch the film in theaters. While launching Shyam Singha Roy on Netflix, the makers said that the film will reach a wider audience now.
Ever since the film was released in theaters last year, a lot of fans have been waiting for Shyam Singha Roy’s OTT release and the day has finally arrived as it is made available on Netflix today (January 21st, 2022).
In a recent interview, Veteran director R Narayana Murthy had called Nani the “Aamir Khan of Telugu Cinema”. Now, Niharika Entertainment, the film’s production house has announced the digital release. It said that “The Epic Love Saga” can be watched on Netflix.

The film has Nani playing two characters. He is playing the role of a young man Vasu and a renowned writer Shyam Singha Roy from the 1970’s Kolkata. The story of the film revolves around Kolkata and Hyderbad. Besides Nani and Sai Pallavi, the film also features Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian in pivotal roles.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film has been produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the banner of Niharika Entertainment.
