In order to unlock big monkey towers in BTD6, you have to first unlock one of the hidden achievements. And that achievement is called Chunky Monkeys. As this is a secret achievement, you will only be able to see it once you have completed it.
To complete this mission, you have to play and win 10 games on medium difficulty or above. Also, you can only use monkey towers with a larger footprint than usual. So, you can use towers and heroes from the below list.

- Monkey Ace
- Heli Pilot
- Mortar Monkey
- Super Monkey
- Banana Farm
- Monkey Village
- Spike Factory
- Cave Monkey
- Captain Churchill
- Pat Fusty
Keep in mind that if you are playing version 24.0, you won’t be able to select Pat Fusty. In that specific version, the hero doesn’t qualify the eligibility criteria. So, by default you would have to select Captain Churchill.
Also, remember that if you selected any other tower except for the ones on the list, the game will be declared null and void. And you won’t be able to unlock the achievement.
