Today is the day to apply for registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE 2022) and the website where students are supposed to fill their form is not working. There are tons of students who want to apply for GATE 2020 but when they attempt to visit its official site gate.iitkgp.ac.in they are unable to access it.
When we tried to access GATE 2022 Registration site, we could not access the site and get a message that says ‘This site can’t be reached.” There are students who have been trying hard to visit the site and fix the ‘GATE 2022 Site Not Working’ issue but they seem to fail it at the moment.
As we have mentioned above, September 24th, 2021 is the last day to apply for GATE 2022 without bearing any late fee. Since the site is not working at the moment, there are chances that the deadline for the registration will be extended.
GATE 2022 Server Down: How To Fix GATE 2022 Site Not Working Issue?
If you are unable to access GATE 2022 site, there are chances that the server of GATE 22 is down at the moment. When a server of any website is down, users are greeted with a message that says that ‘This site can’t be reached.” The same thing is happening when users try to visit GATE 2022 site.
The site of a server goes down either when a site is visited by tons of users at the same time or the website is under maintenance. In this case, the GATE 202 server might be down because the website is being visited by tons of students throughout the country as today is the last day to apply for GATE 2022 without bearing any late fees.
Notably, this is not the first time when a website of GATE 2022 is not working. In the year 2019, when IIT Delhi was asked to conduct GATE 2020, the website crashed on the last day to apply for the exam without any additional fee. Considering the situation, the authorities extended the registration date by two days.
If GATE 2022 website is not up till the afternoon, it is likely that the authorities will extend the deadline of the GATE 2022 application by two days or more.
List Of Documents Needed To Apply For GATE 2022 Exam
- Applicant’s (Candidate) name
- Date of birth
- Valid mobile number(the number should be functional)
- Email ID (the email Id should be functional)
- Name of Parents
- Educational degrees in scanned format (Check the dimensions and size)
- Scanned current photograph (to be submitted as per the required size)
- Scanned signature of the applicant
- Scanned copy on one valid photo ID document such as Aadhaar card or PAN card
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- PwD certificate (disability certificate if applicable)
GATE 2022 Exam & Result Date
GATE 2022 Exam is scheduled to take place on February 5,6,12 and 13 next year. Unlike the last year, this year’s exam will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur. The result for the exam is most likely to be declared on March 17, 2020.
